Delivering Cybersecurity projects for an overstretched cosmetics group
Natura, a Brazil-based company known for delivering skincare products across Latin America as well as owning Avon and The Body Shop, required urgent completion of multiple cybersecurity initiatives. However, the organisation lacked internal resources in both cybersecurity expertise and IT project management experience, and there was insufficient time to hire within desired timescales.
As a result, Natura engaged Pathfinder due to our proven expertise in complex cybersecurity requirements and delivery of projects within large organisations involving numerous stakeholders.
Following an initial discussion of their challenges, we conducted a detailed analysis to further clarify Natura’s needs. Based on insights from this review, we provided strategic recommendations to fully address their cybersecurity objectives – and quickly secured the go ahead for full implementation.
Pathfinder delivered:
- A project and programme assurance framework, spanning IoT and Cloud-based projects aligned with standards and legislation such as GDPR, ISO 27001 and COBIT.
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) solutions starting from requirements gathering through to the Request for Proposal (RfP) stage, tender evaluation, supplier selection, pilots and rollout.
- A successful migration from the existing set of third-party assurance frameworks, that varied in quality across the Natura group of companies, to a single consolidated cloud-based system using a leading supplier of third-party assurance solutions.
As a result, we greatly improved our Natura’s Cybersecurity position, and reduced a wide range of significant technical and legal risks.
