Delivering Cyber Security projects for an overstretched cosmetics group
Natura, a Brazil-based company who deliver skincare products to Latin America but also own Avon and The Body Shop, needed to urgently deliver multiple Cyber security projects. However, they didn’t have Cyber Security resources with project management experience and didn’t have time to recruit.
They turned to us at Pathfinder Project Management as we had not only the skills and knowledge to understand our clients’ Cyber Security needs but also, we had the experience of delivering projects to large-scale organisations with a wide range of stakeholders.
They explained to us what their issues were but we teased out further details that gave us a greater insight into what Natura needed. We delivered recommendations to deliver their Cyber Security needs and got their buy-in.
We delivered for Natura:
- A project and programme assurance framework, spanning IoT and Cloud-based projects based on standards and legislation such as GDPR, ISO 27001 and COBIT.
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) solutions starting from requirements gathering through to the Request for Proposal (RfP) stage, tender evaluation, supplier selection, pilots and rollout.
- A successful migration from the existing set of third-party assurance frameworks, that varied in quality across the Natura group of companies, to a single cloud-based system using a leading supplier of third-party assurance solutions.
As a result, we greatly improved our client’s Cyber Security posture, reducing significant technical and legal risk.
